Selling at our AuctionDeutscher~Menzies and Lawson~Menzies are always accepting entries of high quality artworks for our Auctions. If you are considering selling your property, Deutscher~Menzies and Lawson~Menzies will provide a free initial estimate of its auction value. See our Appraisals and Evaluations page for more information about how you can have your property valued. Consigning your Property Menzies Art Brands' art specialists will be pleased to advise you on the appropriate estimates and reserve for your property and costs including vendor commission, illustration and copyright fees if applicable. If you decide to proceed, you will be provided with a Consignment Agreement form to sign. Prior to the Auction As a vendor in the Auction, you will be sent a copy of the catalogue, and pre-sale notification of the sale date, lot number and reserve of your artwork. As a service to clients, we offer a choice of payment by cheque or direct funds transfer in to your nominated bank account. After Sale Notification Within a few days after the sale, you will receive an after-sale advice listing the final bid price, or, in the event that the property failed to sell, notification that it was bought-in to be returned to you. You will be sent payment for your sold property approximately 35 (thirty five) days after the sale, provided we have received payment. |
